Avondrust Guest House immersed me in the essence of Graaff-Reinet's rich heritage, dating back to 1911. Although breakfast is no longer served, the charming Bavarian German Restaurant nearby provided a delightful alternative, enhancing the overall experience.The garden suite, with its separate entrance, offered ample space and tranquility, allowing me to unwind in serene surroundings. Tess, one of the owners, exhibited exceptional hospitality, and the antique-decorated room with a balcony overlooking the picturesque garden was simply enchanting. The pool provided a refreshing escape after exploring the Valley of Desolation, and the town's architectural wonders left me captivated.Avondrust Guest House exceeded my expectations in every aspect, from the comfortable rooms and beautiful gardens to the friendly staff and ideal location. I left feeling not only rejuvenated but also deeply connected to Graaff-Reinet's allure.
